Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Montessori programs at the Academy is to enable its students to develop strategies for the acquisition of the knowledge, skills, and values they will need to participate meaningfully in our culturally diverse society based upon respect.
Montessori Academy of Indianapolis strives to:
• Create a culturally-diverse educational and social environment in which the child will be encouraged to be a self-motivated learner, developing such qualities as order, concentration, coordination, and independence. The Montessori environment will enable the child to maximize his or her potential for success in learning and acquiring life skills.
• Pursue this mission through a distinctive Montessori approach embodying individualized instruction, mixed-age groupings, an international curriculum, a prepared environment, and specialized Montessori teaching materials.
• Prepare students for life by providing a challenging yet nurturing, focused yet comprehensive academic environment in which students learn.
